A remnant of the Gomez's old yogurt store
A group of us also walked up to the Catholic church at the top of the city. I had been in the church last year, but did not go behind it to see the view. This time we did and it was worth the walk! And I found eggplant on the route to the church!

The four amigos...or the pepper boys!
After lunch, we had our final VBS day. In crafts, we made salvation necklaces with the colored beads that represented how to get saved. We also let the children color with chalk and they enjoyed that activity.
Chalk drawing!
Nathan was always sweaty and tired after games!
Abigail colored me a picture today!
After a dinner of fried rice, a favorite of Nathan's, we had a youth night at the Macas church. The Macas youth, a youth group working with the school, and our group attended. Mitzi gave the devotion and we did our two skits, Everything and the Sin Chair. The Everything skit was powerful and showed how sin can keep us from Christ who is our Everything. The Sin Chair was humorous, involving a chair that you weren't supposed to touch (it was sin) and how you would get stuck in it. I have a decent video of the Everything skit, except for my finger briefly in the way! It is on FB as it is too large for this blog. I was in the other skit, so no pics!

Although some of the youth went out for pizza after the service, I stayed in and hung out with the people who didn't go out. It was a nice evening and tomorrow should be a great Sunday!
