Pictures of pharmacies for Dave
I thought the doble via signs were neat...after seeing the una via signs!
After lunch we were able to do a little shopping at the market. With the help of some to the Spanish speaking youth, I was able to haggle a little! (Which I really am not good at even in English!)
We then visited on of the cathedrals. It was very big...and many of the Ecuador presidents are buried underneath the cathedral. There are also priests entombed inside.

We walked to the downtown section of Quito to end our tour. The road we walked down was call the Street of Seven Crosses. At the end of the road, you could see the angel statue at the top of the mountain.

The best picture I could get of the angel...it is stepping on a snake
It was very cloudy and the angel was hard to see
We had a long bus ride back to the hotel that night and pizza at the hotel was for dinner! It tasted like normal pizza..no Ecuador twist! We then had to get some sleep in order to leave for Macas Friday morning at 6:30!
A random observation....it wasn't very hot at the Equator (and in Quito). In fact, it was sort of chilly!
