We made it to 2025!

2025 is where we are, but 2024 is what I am writing about!  If you read this blog, you know what I have been doing this year.  I ran 6 half marathons and hiked the Grand Canyon Rim2Rim with my sister and niece.  While doing my halfs, I was able to run with my friends in Charleston; travel to New Hampshire with my mom; run with a friend in New Jersey; travel to Wisconsin by myself; run with Camden in Virginia and Pennsylvania; and travel to Washington with Dave to reach the halfway point of my goal and have a great vacation!

But now to catch you up on the Shirley boys!

Dave got a big promotion at MUSC and is now an Associate Professor at their College of Pharmacy.  In addition to excelling in his career, he continues to enjoy fishing and hunting.  And he remodeled another bathroom at our house.  He is quite the handyman!

Nathan is still adulting in Columbia, SC.  We don't get to see him often but enjoy our time together when we do!

Camden has entered the biggest decision year of his life.  He is a Senior at West Ashley High School.  He is doing well and has been accepted at Liberty University and Clemson University.  He will have to make his college decision in 2025!  He also continues to run track and cross country.  He was able to break 18 minutes this year in cross country!  

As we move into 2025, we will have big changes in our family.  Jeremiah 29:11 says, "I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."  Let your prayer and our family's prayer be that we trust in God's plans for our lives.
