Tuesday was the day we headed home. It had been a great trip, and we still had half a day to explore. So we went to Fenway Park. They gave a great tour and there is so much history there. To think, we were looking at the same pitcher's mound that Babe Ruth stood on! The seats we sat in were wooden and original. I know that new baseball stadiums have their perks, but something about the original one is super cool!

The locker Derek Jeter always used when he played at Fenway
They were working on the field to get it ready for opening day
The original scoreboard that they use in addition to the new one. This one requires people to go inside behind the scoreboard to change the score

The Green Monster. When they made this a place for people to sit, tickets were $50. Now they can be $1000ish!

Don't throw away your son's baseball cards, or you may be immortalized in a museum!!!
This was our uber day as the walk to Fenway was about 5 miles! After our tour, Camden and I went back to Quincy Market for lunch while Dave had an online meeting at a Panera. But before we got our clam chowder, we went to an awesome donut shop, Kane's.
The donuts were huge! And much better than Dunkin!
We found the Bill Russell statue
I found a great quote from Bill Russell at his statue
After a flight delay due to a flat tire on the plane (who knew that ever happened), we made it home safely. We had had an epic trip, and I am so thankful for memories made with Camden before he heads off to college in the fall.
